Basic Herb Oil is a mixture of cold-pressed rapeseed oil and herbs. Cold-pressed rapeseed oil is a vegetable oil extracted from rapeseed from the rapeseed plant. The oil has a relatively neutral, nutty taste and a high proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids. Cold pressing means that the production process does not heat the oil to more than 50 degrees at any point. This preserves the natural unsaturated fatty acids in the oil and it retains its good properties. Since cold pressing does not change the natural properties and composition of the oil, it places high demands on the quality of the rapeseed.
